Mazzeo’s is always looking for skilled technicians to service and install our product. Service technicians delivery our stoves and fireplaces as well as vent them using the appropriate pipe or vent, such as conventional stove pipe, Class-A stainless metal chimney, direct vent pipe, pellet vent or steel or aluminum liners. Technicians must be able to work on roofs with appropriate safety equipment, carry heavy stoves and fireplace and be able clean, service and repair stoves and venting systems. If you don’t have experience in the industry or in the work force in general, such as if you’re just graduating high school, but you’re interested in learning and working for Mazzeo’s, that’s OK, too. Recent high school graduates can start at $18 per hour, and we off professional training is available in-house by some of the most experience people in the industry, as wells as professional training programs through such institutions as the National Fireplace Institute and the Maine Technical Education Center. Workers with experience in the hearth industry as service technicians as well as experience in carpentry, masonry, roofing or have their propane certificate can earn $25-$30 per hour .
