Wood Fireplaces
Give us a wall and we will give you a fireplace complete with it's own vent system. Select an open burning casual use
wood burning fireplace
or opt for a high efficiency EPA approved fireplace for the best of both worlds.
A new fireplace will add significant value to your home. Factory-built fireplaces are not as expensive as masonry fireplaces as they do not need any additional footing or other structural support plus they utilize a safe, lightweight chimney system. Masonry skills are not required for the installation. These fireplaces are available in a range of sizes, and can be open on one, two ("see-through" and corner models), three ("peninsula"), or four sides ("oasis"). Select brick, stone, marble and other facing materials, add your choice of a mantel, and you have a new fireplace to gather around.
A factory-built fireplace is actually a firebox enclosed within a steel cabinet with its own venting styem. A blanket of insulating air keeps the outer wall cool, land spacers surrounding the cabinet allow it to be installed in close proximity to the wood framing (hence the name "zero-clearance fireplace"). They pass rigorous testing standards established by Underwriters Laboratories and the American Gas Association and have an excellent safety record.
